About Us
Our story
Studio ESENCIA was born from a deep personal desire: to create a place that makes you feel good, in a different way.
For several years, we worked in environments marked by suffering: drug addiction, homelessness, mental health, social reintegration, violence. These experiences forged in us the conviction that everyone deserves a space to find themselves, heal and create.
It was in this quest for meaning that Esencia was born: a mother-daughter project, driven by two passionate women—one a criminologist and nurse, the other an artist and art therapist. Together, we envisioned a welcoming space where art and kindness become powerful tools for well-being.
Studio Esencia is not a clinic. It’s a creative refuge. A space between care and freedom. A place to let go of what weighs you down, to celebrate what resonates, and to express yourself without masks.
Our mission
To offer safe, creative and human spaces to take care of one’s mental health in a different way.
Through art workshops, collective experiences, and moments of genuine connection,
we aim to enable everyone to:
to file without judgment,
to explore one’s emotions at one’s own pace,
and reconnect with one’s deepest essence.
We believe in the power of symbolism, in respecting everyone’s lived experience,
and in the beauty of creative processes, even (and especially) imperfect ones.
Esencia is not a place of performance, it is a place of grounding, repair and meaning.
